I don’t know much about blogging, travel blogging, travel writing, etc, so when I have a few spare minutes I explore other people’s blogs to see what they’re up to, learn about their style, and check out their blog format. There are a lot of great blogs out there, and I came across one that curates a “Weekend Getaway” section from guest bloggers. This section of their blog features information about what to do for 2-4 days in a variety of cities. I wrote them asking whether they were interested in having Hong Kong on their roster. They said yes, I did some writing, and here we are…!
Nǐ hǎo! We are Braden and Alison – newlyweds, Vancouverites and Canadian transplants to Hong Kong. Braden is in retail finance and his company transferred him here on a two year contract (amazing!); I’m working as an interior designer. We are embracing the adventure and immersing ourselves in Hong Kong life; there’s no better way to get to know a city than live there.
